Own that cornhole game!
We’re not talking about buying a game, we’re talking about how you could “own” the game. Simple. Make four bags in the hole consecutively in one inning of play and you have achieved the highest in cornhole. By law, and you could prosecute if the players don’t follow through, you are to sign your name on the board, date and time that it happened. You have officially “owned” the set where the feat happened.
To make this happen, the player must throw in an alternate shot rotation and sink each bag in the hole. Leave one on the lip to be carried in later DOES NOT COUNT! All bags must be in the hole on the shot thrown. If after one inning you have successfully made them all, you win! There is much debate centered around not holing the shot each throw, but we feel that you must hit them.
There are many different playing styles and many folks position their shots on the board only to have them carried in later in a round. While this is good strategy for scoring a maximum amount of points, it does not count toward “owning” the cornhole game. So, the next time your heart rate is up after you make the first three in, remember, if the last one doesn’t go, your perfect inning is over as well as your right by law to “own” the boards!
Good Luck.
